The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures and the Humanities Collegiate Division at the University of Chicago are accepting applications for a Senior Instructional Professor (open rank) in French. This is a full-time position, benefits-eligible with a three-year renewable term, to start on September 1, 2021.The Senior Instructional Professor will serve as Co-Director of the French Language Program, and will be share responsibility for managing all aspects of the French Language Program in the Department of Romance Languages & Literatures. In this capacity, the Program Co-Director will provide pedagogical vision, oversight, and direction for the language program as a whole.
